From Beijing, China to GMC. Praise the Lord!

Dear GMC brothers and sisters in Christ,
It has been about a month and a half since I have arrived in the great land of China. Getting accustomed to the food, the culture, and settling into my apartment has taken some time. The beginning of the trip turned up some surprising incidents that I would like to briefly share with you.
In the second week of the trip one of our teammates had a terrible ache in her abdomen. She went to the hospital and found that her gall bladder was infected. She had to go through surgery and remove it. This surgery and time of recovery took much of our time and energy. God has allowed for a quick recovery, however, please pray for her complete recovery.
Our ministry has mainly been at Tsing Hua University, the most prestigious school of technology in all of China. Out of this school come the future leaders and history makers of China. We have been contacting, meeting up, and sharing the message of Christ to them. Praise the Lord! Already a handful of them have come to know the Lord and many are very close! Some are already ready to make disciples of their own!
Please continue to keep me and my team of five in your prayers. We are really seeing God’s grace in our own lives and in the lives of the people here. I am praying and lifting up GMC as well. May there be victory everyday and may the worship of Christ be lifted up always!
